First time testing the new hyperspectral cart this season! The cart was designed in collaboration with Middleton Spectral Vision. We are using it to look at the spectral response of maize genotypes to different management conditions and environmental stresses.
Our 2018 field season is underway! The fields are fully planted, the corn is growing quickly, and lab members are busy phenotyping, genotyping, and preparing the fields for crosses. Stay tuned as we turn these plants into cool science!
